Chennai: Tickets stolen from MTC bus

Police said that the incident happened on Friday in a MTC bus operated between Velachery and Tambaram.

CHENNAI: Police are probing a complaint from MTC bus staff to find the conductor’s bag with bus tickets and POS (point of sale) machine stolen from the bus when the driver and the conductor went to drink tea after parking the bus at Vijayanagar Bus Terminus near Velachery.

Police said that the incident happened on Friday in a MTC bus operated between Velachery and Tambaram.

Driver Sudhakar (41) and conductor Jothi (44) filed a complaint with the Velachery police.
