False communal spin given to corporal penalty video
A news channel tweeted a video showing a teacher caning a pupil. It claimed that a Christian teacher in Tamil Nadu beat up a Hindu student for wearing a rudraksha.

Alt News found that an incident took place in Chidambaram where a Dalit student was beaten by a teacher for loitering.
The teacher has since been arrested. Another incident involving a student in Kancheepuram wearing a rudraksha being barred from entering a class was falsely shared as the aforementioned video.
