A photo of protestors holding ‘Refugees Welcome’ placards has gone viral with a message that a man in the middle of the photo is the French teacher Samuel Paty who was beheaded by Abdoulakh Anzorov last week. Anzorov was born in Moscow and came to France with refugee status as a young boy. Alt News found that the photo was actually shot in Kent, UK. A police van in the background reads “Kent Police”. So the image does not pertain to the slain teacher.
