Instagram to update the video time limit to 60 seconds

According to the Instagram's blog, the time people spend watching video has increased by more than 40 percent. And longer videos means a wider range of stories from the accounts that you follow.

As part of Instagram’s continuous efforts to make this platform more user-friendly they have decided to up the time limit of the video’s you can now post.

However, this update on Instagram's blog is described as "rolling out today ... available for everyone in the coming months," which likely means it may only be available to influencers during its initial stages.

Along with this Instagram has now brought back the feature to make videos out of multiple clips from the camera roll. At present, this feature is available to iOS devices only.
