Food bloggers played a big role during floods

We have had bloggers’ meet, in the past, but they were informal ones. This time, we are inviting food bloggers from different parts of the country to give them a sneak-peak about the food culture in the city. This apart, the participants will talk about food and blogging trends.

We have invited one of India’s leading food critics and bloggers from Mumbai, Adarsh Munjal, who goes by the name TheBigBhookad. He will be part of the keynote session. We will also have a panel discussion on ‘The behaviour of F&B brands online, and how blogging influences the sector’ by Nivedith Gajapathy, Hrish Thota and Aravind Balakrishnan. We’ll also have a session by Vikas Chawla.

The food and beverage industry played an admirable role during the flood as many restaurants and hotels shut shop to cook for victims. The panel from Bengaluru comprises those who co-ordinated through social media to meet the food needs of Chennai during flood.
