Train timings of Tirunelveli-Tambaram weekly spl changed

CHENNAI: Timing of train no 06004 Tirunelveli –Tambaram Weekly Special would be revised between Tirunelveli and Virudunagar with effect 28th August, 2022 (Sunday).

Accordingly, arrival and departure of the express train at Charanmahadevi, Ambasamudram, Kila Kadaiyam, Pavuchatram, Tenkasi, Rajapalayam, Sriviliputtur, Sivakasi and Virudhunagar stations would be changed, a statement issued by Southern Railway (SR) said.

Clear extra rush of passengers the following Weekly Special Trains will be operated between Tirunelveli – Mettupalayam sector as detailed below.

Weekly special train:

A weekly special train will be operated between Tirunelveli and Mettupalayam to clear the extra rush of passengers. Train no 06030 Tirunelveli – Mettupalayam Weekly Special Fare Special will leave Tirunelveli at 19.00 hrs on Thursdays with effect from 01 September, 2022 to 26 January, 2023 and reach Mettupalayam at 07.30 hrs the next day (22 Services).

Train no 06029 Mettupalayam – Tirunelveli Weekly Special Fare Special will leave Mettupalayam at 19.45 hrs on Fridays with effect from 02 September, 2022 to 27 January, 2023 and reach Tirunelveli at 07.45 hrs the next day (22 Services).

Advance reservation for the above special fare special trains comprising two AC tier-III, nine sleeper class and two general second class coaches will open at 8am on August 28.
