Khushbu dodges KP Munusamy's statement as intra-party affair of AIADMK

In an oblique attack at BJP, Deputy Convenor of AIADMK KP Munusamy dismissed national parties' role in Tamil Nadu politics as 'insignificant' and said AIADMK and DMK alone are the contenders in the party's General Council held on January 9.

This speech of his threw a hammer at BJP-AIADMK alliance which already stands on a shaky ground. Also the resolution on partnering with only those parties that accept Edappadi K Palaniswami as the alliance's Chief-Ministerial candidate getting passed at AIADMK's General Council is a further setback to BJP which is reluctant to do so.

Khushbu was at Pudukottai for BJP's Pongal function and she responded to the media in a non-committal manner saying 'neither the BJP is following AIADMK's lead nor the vice versa, whatever Munusamy spoke was AIADMK's intra-party matter.'
