Minister of Revenue and Disaster management RB Udhayakumar has accused DMK Chief MK Stalin of setting a wrong precedence by hosting Gram Sabha meeting.

The minister met with press while he was of taking part in the AIADMK membership enrolment drive.

Furthering the attack he said that the Gram Sabha meetings helmed by Stalin is a facade and those posing as farmers are in real DMK members.

He listed out CM Edappadi Palaniswami's farmer centric schemes, like Kudimaramathu schemes and allotment of 4,12,000 acres for harvesting Kuruvai (short-term) crops.

Also pointing out Tamil Nadu's track-record in agricultural sector he said the state produces 100 tonnes of food cereals consistently.

Udhayakumar said to MK Stalin not to try duping farmers by shrouding the benefits of the newly introduced farming bills, for his political mileage and continue to do the disservice to them while DMK was in power at the state and centre.
