To fast-track the investigation of PM Kisan scheme scam the CB-CID have announced helpline numbers and e-mail ids to report any key information regarding this.
The tri-annual scheme for farmers were heavily misused by bogus beneficiaries for over two years which came to light recently.
A huge sum of Rs 110 crores were swindled by the fake beneficiaries all over Tamil Nadu with linkups between several government officials and private computer centres.
Suspensions and arrests with this regard has become commonplace.
