According to sources, police personnel posted on duty in Karungalpalayam check post on Erode-Namakkal border two days ago witnessed two white images and their size gradually increased even as they moved across the road.

Upon reaching the middle of the stretch, the ‘movers’ were hit by a car. Fifteen seconds after the collision, both the images vanished. The movement of imag-es, which reportedly happened during broad daylight, caught thepolice personnel by surprise as they could neither make out what it is nor call it a ‘ghost’. Coincidentally, the same images were recorded on other CCTV cameras in the vicinity. The confused police personnel on duty informed their superiors. Meanwhile, the strange activity became the talk of the department in the entire district.

The video also went viral on social media platforms from Saturday. While a few argued that it was a mere reflection of a mirror, a few others, inspired by ‘Kollywood flicks’, claimed that they were ghosts on the prowling to take revenge. However, police are verifying the video with the help of experts to get a scientific explanation for the sudden surfacing of such strange images.
