COVID-19: Tamil Nadu death toll rises to 11
The number of dead due to COVID-19 in Tamil Nadu went up to 11 with the death of a 45-year-old woman on Saturday, said an official statement.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in Tamil Nadu stands at 969, with a total of 11 deaths, as per Government reports.Â
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Department of Health and Family Welfare said a 45-year-old woman who was admitted to the Omandurar Medical College Hospital on April 5 died on Saturday evening.
Tamil Nadu has ordered about 4 lakh rapid test kits from the Centre, to make the testing process faster.Â
