Also, a new app named ‘Mangalam Masala’ was also launched by Palaniswami.

The app and the website will sell products of other cooperative societies across the state and the customers can shop on the website just like any other e-commerce website. The products sold on mangalammasala.com website and the app have been split into six categories, spices, masala, grocery, pooja, oil and millets.

The raw materials for the products would be procured from the farmers, who belong to the respective cooperative societies and value addition would be done for the products by the concerned cooperative society. After value addition the products would be listed on the website and after obtaining orders the products would be shipped from the cooperatives.
