Wait and watch how BJP resolves water-sharing row, says Tamilisai
BJP state president Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday said opposition parties have been making false propaganda against the BJP as a non-secular party, but the party has been working for the development of farmers. She urged the people of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka to wait and watch how the BJP forms the government in Karnataka and resolves the Cauvery water dispute.

The BJP’s farmers rights retrieval cycle rally was flagged off by Tamilisai on Wednesday from Kallanai in Thanjavur district.
Tamilisai said the BJP is not only saffron but also green, which represents agriculture, and has been working as a friend for the Tamil farmers. It would sound the death knell of political parties which have been acting hypocritically, she added.
“The Cauvery would flow with a clear scheme in Tamil Nadu as the BJP will certainly form the government in Karnataka. We have been criticised for asking time for genuine reasons so that farmers of Tamil Nadu would be benefited,” she said and added that those who say the draft Cauvery management scheme is against the state are selfish and they do not have a developmental agenda.
In Madurai, All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi founder Sarath Kumar said that only parties that have a majority of MLAs should form the Karnataka government and so Governor Vajubhai Vala should call the coalition which has the sufficient number of MLAs.
