Dr S Ramadoss, founder of PMK, in a statement said that the Madras High Court sought explanation from the state and Centre over Jayalalithaa’s death. “The judges have observed that there is prima facie case over the death and so that they have sought explanation,” he said and added that the questions raised by Justice Vaidyanathan were imperative.

“I have doubts over the death, because there was a news that Jayalalithaa was taking food, recuperating and even undergoing physiotherapy treatment in the hospital. Under this circumstance, how she died all of a sudden. These were the questions asked by the Judge,” Ramadoss pointed out.

The Judge openly asked what people of the state have been contemplating over the death so far, he said.

    White paper on treatment

Stating that the PMK demanded the government to issue white paper on treatment provided to late Jayalalithaa on November 15, Ramadoss said “however there was  no response from the state government  and Centre.” Jayalalithaa was hospitalized on September, 22 and the hospital announced that she died on December 5 after suffering heart attack.

“I would have never raised any suspicion, had Jayalalithaa been ordinary person or general secretary of the party. But, she was the Chief Minister of the state and she died under mysterious circumstances,” the PMK leader said and added that even cadres from AIADMK were desperate for knowing the reasons behind her death.
