Varun Kumar beats Sparsh to make it to main draw

Playing confidently, Digvijay combined caution and aggression to good effect. He kept up the momentum throughout and won the match 4-2. Current Tamil Nadu 6 Red champion J Varun Kumar defeated Sparsh Pherwani 4-2 to enter the main draw. 

G Prabhu of TN edged past Kushal Chandrashekar in the deciding frame by 4-3 to make it to the group stage and junior national champion S Shrikrishna comfortably progressed into the group stage by defeating Vinayak Agarwal 4-1. Multiple times national champion Alok Kumar of PSPB also entered the group stage defeating Nitin Sharma by 4-2, with a break of 51 in the match. 

I.H Manudev and D Rajkumar of Karnataka also won their qualifying matches to enter the group stages. Lucky Vatnani of Telangana who has been consistent right from the start also entered the group stage defeating Monu Choudhary 4-2.
