Rayudu ton goes in vain
An excellent hundred by Ambati Rayudu guided India A to 300 for 4 but that was not enough against England who won the first warm-up one-day match at the Brabourne Stadium by three wickets, Sam Billings was the hero for England with an 85-ball 93.

England made light of the target and romped home scoring 307 for seven in 48.5 overs with Billings (93) and Liam Dawson (41) adding a crucial 99 runs for the sixth wicket to put the mach beyond India A.. Â At 191 for five in the 31st over, England were in trouble after Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets for India A. Rayudu retired not out on 100 (97 balls) to give Dhoni a chance to bat.Â
Shikhar Dhawan, who opened the innings with Mandeep Singh, scored a patient 84-ball 63 and Yuvraj Singh, who was named in the Indian One-Day International team after a gap of over three years, finished with 56 in quick time.Â
And Dhioni finished off the innings with 68 not out. After India A lost opener Mandeep cheaply, Dhawan and Rayudu added 111 runs in t21.1 overs.Ball dismissed Dhawan caught by  Buttler. Yuvraj took his time before going after the bowling. He and Rayudu added 91 for the third wicket, before the Andhra player brought up his fourth List A ton.Â
Yuvraj holed out at fine leg for 46-ball 58. Sanju Samson was dismissed off the very first delivery. Dhoni went on attack mode and reached his 50 off 35 deliveries. Dhoni scored 23 runs off the final over from Chris Woakes to take India past 300.
