TTD releases details of festivals to be held in Tirupati in Sept

CHENNAI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has released the details of the festivals to be held in the month of September at the Tirupati temple.

Here are the details about the festivals that are to be held:

• 1st September: Rishi Panchami

6th and 21st September: Sarva Ekadasi

7th September: Vamana Jayanti

9th September: Ananta Padmanabha Vratham

11th September: Mahalaya Paksha begins

13th September: Brihadratha Vratam (Undralla Taddi)

20th September: Temple Alwar Thirumanjanam on the occasion of annual Brahmotsavam festival

25th September: Mahalaya Amavasye

26th September: Brahmotsavam Festival - Ankurarpanam

27th September: Annual Brahmotsavam festival with flag hoisting ceremony
