Complete border projects on priority: Rajnath

After reviewing the Border Area Projects on Monday, Home Minister Rajnath Singh directed officials that the ongoing projects should be completed on priority and in a time-bound manner. 

“The technological solutions should be put in place where physical barriers are not possible. This will involve networking of equipments like high- resolution cameras, radars, unattended ground sensors, optical fibres, infra-red Sensors, aerostats and hand-held thermal imagers,” said Singh. 

Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, and Officer on Special Duty to Home ministry Rajiv Gauba were present along with Singh.
