Video of chimpanzee washing its keeper’s t-shirt wins netizens hearts

Scientifically, humans and chimpanzees are said to imitate each other and this video just proves that.

Posted on a Chinese social platform, a chimp is seen washing its keeper’s t-shirt inside a Chinese zoo. The chimpanzee, named Yuhui, notices its keeper who washes his clothes near the chimp’s enclosure. On seeing the chimp observe his movements, the trainer tried to find if it has learnt anything and sure enough, the primate aced the test. The video shows the chimpanzee taking soap and applying it on its hands and later rubbing it on the t-shirt and then rinsing the t-shirt. This cute video garnered nearly 45,000 likes and 115 retweets.

Avengers dance to ‘Disco Deewane’ gets Twitterati into groove mood

It was a treat to many when their favourite Avengers characters danced to the desi number ‘Disco Deewane’ from the movie ‘Student of the year’, directed by Karan Johar. The dance, was loved by many in the Internet and was widely circulated and soon enough, the director of the movie, Karan Johar, who got to watch the tweet, was excited and couldn’t stop laughing at the act pulled out by the college students. The highlight of the dance video is that it was bizarre, for it had characters dressed in superhero costumes dancing to a combination of music that ticked the funny bone of many. Since being shared, the video was viewed nearly 1.7 lakh times and received close to 3,900 likes.

Songbird having rare condition is now cynosure of all eyes on Internet

In an unusual case, a songbird was found to have characteristics of both a male and a female. Posted

on Facebook by Inland Bird Banding Association, it showed the cardinal having two distinct plumages on either side of its body. While one part represented bright red plumage like that of a male, the other side had pale tan feathers like a female. After pictures of the split coloured bird went viral, many users appreciated the fact that even birds are intersexual. Scientists have stated that the bird has a condition called ‘bilateral gynandromorphism’ that makes it to have two distinct features in a single body.
