Internet loves Uma Thurman’s response to query on Weinstein
A video of Hollywood actress Uma Thurman reacting to the unwinding of the Harvey Weinstein case, went viral after a journalist with a popular international daily retweeted it.

In the interview, which was taken at a red-carpet event, the actress says, “I don’t have a tidy soundbite for you, because I’ve learned — I’m not a child, and I’ve learned that when I’ve spoken in anger I usually regret the way I express myself. So, I’ve been waiting to feel less angry. And when I’m ready, I’ll say what I have to say.”
Thurman didn’t yell, swear, rant or even speak for very long, but the sheer emotion underpinning her words hung heavily in the air. Her response has resonated with thousands of people on social media.
One of the top comments on the video went, “God love her. She’s been hurt quite badly, you can feel it in this clip, and Pulp Fiction was a Weinstein film. I support her as we all do.”
Another said, “Wow, it takes a hell of a lotta strength to hold in that kind of rage. And unfortunately, we have to, or else we get called hysterical.”
The video already has over a million views and thousands of retweets. We have a feeling that Thurman may have plenty to say.
