Carnatic version of Shape of You wins hearts

However, three musicians — Aditya Rao, Vinod Krishnan and Mahesh Raghvan — have given the song a Carnatic twist while retaining the original score by Ed Sheeran. While Aditya Rao and Vinod Krishnan are on vocals, Mahesh Raghavan takes the lead for the Carnatic musical solo in the video. 

So far, this video by Indian Raga Project has 3.6 million views on Facebook and over 1.3 million likes and thousands of shares. In the past, this startup has posted videos of other Carnatic compositions as well as dance performances.
