Parasakthi is treasure of Tamil cinema: Ravi Mohan

When I agreed to play the antagonist, many questioned my choice at this stage of my career. Yet, the primary reason I walked into the world of Parasakthi was none other than Sudha Kongara ma’am. She is a filmmaker of dreams and convictions, one whose creative instincts never falter. Working with her has been an absolute honour,” Ravi said.

CHENNAI: Actor Ravi Mohan will be seen essaying an antagonist role in Sudha Kongara's directorial Parasakthi. The star cast includes Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa and Sreeleela in lead roles. Ravi Mohan reflects on his experience working in the film.

“Parasakthi is far from an ordinary film; it is a masterpiece created through the dedication and vision of countless hardworking individuals. When I agreed to play the antagonist, many questioned my choice at this stage of my career. Yet, the primary reason I walked into the world of Parasakthi was none other than Sudha Kongara ma’am. She is a filmmaker of dreams and convictions, one whose creative instincts never falter. Working with her has been an absolute honour,” he said.

He praised Atharvaa as a wonderful actor. “His positivity radiates across the set. His performance and character in this film are sure to leave a lasting impression on the hearts of audiences,” added the actor, who went on to appreciate Sreeleela as a phenomenal performer, and was certain her fan base in Tamil Nadu would flourish far beyond expectations after Parasakthi.

“Sivakarthikeyan is someone I deeply admire and hold in great affection. Contrary to the baseless rumours suggesting that he overshadowed others, he ensured that my character received ample depth and substance, a gesture rare among contemporary heroes. His good-heartedness, discipline, and unwavering commitment to his craft continue to define his steady and remarkable growth,” Ravi Mohan shared.

He also noted that GV Prakash Kumar, having almost completed a century of films in such a short span, has delivered one of his most outstanding works in Parasakthi.

“Parasakthi is truly a treasure for Tamil cinema. I have never felt such joy and fulfilment before a film’s release. After watching it, I am overwhelmed with pride and happiness, for the film has surpassed every expectation. It will undoubtedly be a grand and unforgettable cinematic experience for audiences everywhere,” he said with confidence.
