Two killed in accident near Nazarethpet
Two men riding a two-wheeler were killed after a truck ran them over near Nazarethpet on Friday evening. The deceased were identified as Lokesh (22) and Siva (20) of Naduveerapattu near Kundrathur. Both were automobile mechanics.

The incident happened when they were on the way to a relative’s house in Nazarethpet on the motorbike. It is said that Siva, who was riding the vehicle, lost balance after a carton box flying in the air blocked his view, and both fell on the road after the bike skidded.
A tanker lorry coming from behind ran them over, killing the duo on the spot. On information, the Poonamallee traffic investigation police registered a case and arrested the lorry driver Narasimhan. Further investigation is on.
