Air ambulance takes UAE family home

Though the treatment was over, they were unable to return after flight services were cancelled following the lockdown. The family sought the help of their embassy, and after getting special permission from the Centre, an air ambulance flight was arranged for them. On Friday night, the three of them were brought to Chennai airport on an ambulance. They boarded the special flight, which departed around 7 pm from the airport along with five cabin crew.
