Joshna gets placed in TANGEDCO
Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami appointed international squash player Joshna Chinappa as TANGEDCO’s Senior Sports Officer at the secretariat on Tuesday. The appointment follows her appeal to the CM.

Joshna Chinappa had won gold medals in the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games in addition to winning laurels at the international level over the years. She was appointed to the post under TANGEDCO’s sports quota, an official release said and added that those present on the included School Education Minister KA Sengottaiyan, Electricity Minister P Thangamani, CS Girija Vaidyanathan, TANGEDCO chairman M Saikumar and energy secretary Vikram Kapur.
