Reddy and aides prove tough nuts for ED
Sekhar Reddy and his associates, who are now lodged in Puzhal prison in connection with bulk seizure of new currencies and alleged involvement in money laundering, remain defiant, as officials of three different investigation agencies have not been able to make the sand baron and aides spill anything substantial at the end of three-day interrogation.

As Reddy did not budge to confess his connection with hawala kingpin Parasmal Lodha and former Tamil Nadu chief secretary Rama Mohana Rao during the interrogation in the police custody, Enforcement Directorate had got a special order from the Special Court for CBI cases to grill Sekhar Reddy and his associates inside Puzhal prison.Â
Enforcement Directorate sources told DTNext that the questioning continued till Wednesday.Â
