Western districts coordinator of the party S. Mohammed Rafi said that on Monday a few persons have been sending morphed images claiming that Rs 2,500 crore was seized from the party’s office at Delhi. “The image with the logo of a leading private news channel with message in Tamil claims that the said unaccounted money was seized from the toilet of our party office. This is a campaign to defame the party and party leader Arvind Kejriwal,” he said. Rafi added that the image is going viral on social media mainly in Facebook and WhatsApp. It has also come under criticism by persons.  “They even criticised our party on our official Facebook page. We have made an appeal to the cyber crime police to arrest persons who had first created it and those who shared it,” Rafi said. He also said that the party informed the private channel about the misuse of their logo.
