Saarang gears up for another exciting year

How different is the festival this year?   

Post the floods in Chennai, we have decided to do our bit to help Chennai recover. We are organising many charity events and also a fund raiser at Saarang. We got a lot of inquiries as many people were unsure whether the event will happen this year. However, we have worked hard to put up a good show. 

As an organisation, we have always been socially aware but this time we have decided to up our game. We now have Sarang’s social wing called Sukriti that extensively works on children’s issues. We are giving a part of the proceeds to help children affected with flood. 

What are the highlights of Saarang 2016?   

This year we have reduced the number of events. We have removed the events that weren’t getting enough participation and put the popular events and competitions on our priority list. We have have The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus perform for the rock show and music composers Vishal and Shekhar will also be performing live.
