Team E-stick developed an E-stick, which is a non-invasive device for measurement of blood glucose of diabetes patients on a daily basis, without having to go through the pain of pricking, said a media release. “It will also assist in mass screening of diabetes and provide motivation to the users to continue putting in efforts required to control their blood sugar levels”, said Vipul Arora, third year student and Technical Lead of the team.
Team ‘Cheeni Kum’ that won the CAMTech Grand prize has developed Sparsh, which is a multi-parameter diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) screening device that is capable of performing tests such as monofilament test, vibration threshold test, temperature threshold test and pulse amplitude monitor.
