Paul Kanakaraj, the President of the association said, “CISF is being stationed through order by the Chief Justice for the HC complex. It was requested with the security head Sudhakar that this should not escalate into difficulties or barriers that would hinder the functioning of the lawyers. As per this arrangement, all entrances would be guarded by the Tamil Nadu police and the CISF would be used inside the campus. They will protect the buildings of the court complex.
Motor vehicles will be allowed in the premises and they have to pass metal detectors and scanners positioned between parking area and the main buildings. A protective wall has been erected to separate the parking area.
There are around four entrances erected and visitors must display their ID Cards. They can produce any association or Bar council card” he explained. Petitioners have separate arrangements. They can get their respective forms from the counter between the barriers. Petitioners or litigants should have got their acknowledgement from the lawyers.
There is a Complex Security Committee who will take into account of all the demands with regard to the security.
