Ihave been selling vegetables and fruits for most of my adult life. It’s a good business but I am old now. I can’t take care of it by myself and so I have two people helping me. My husband helps me occasionally. But he is an alcoholic. he takes money from me to start a business or get a new job but ends up in a bar and makes a fool of himself. I don’t bother with him anymore. I have been earning for my family by myself. I got my three children married off with my earnings. I help my in-laws too when they need it. My husband doesn’t do much anymore. My mother taught me how to sell and I have coached my children, too, when they were younger. Now they’re all in different businesses. But back then, I used to teach them how to group the expensive and cheap vegetables and how to speak to customer. They’re very happy children. They’ve always been so. They used to lie to customers, but then I told them not to. Now, they’re married with good in-laws. It makes me happy that they have a good life because it means I don’t have to worry about them. I underwent a stomach operation recently. After that, it’s been hard to sit for a long time. So one of my daughters comes and helps me on a shift-basis. One of these days, I want to help them in their jobs too – they have such interesting jobs and I want to try it out.
