Ilaiyaraaja tells how and when was Yuvan Shankar Raja born
The veteran music composer has shared an interesting story behind the birth of his son and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja on the latter's 43rd birthday.
CHENNAI: As the entire Kollywood industry and music lovers have banded up to celebrate the soulful music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja's 43rd birthday, Ilaiyaraja has revealed a story of how his son and one of his evergreen love song were born together.
Ilaiyaraaja said that it was one of those days where his compositions took place at a guest house in the vicinity of Aliyar Dam. He said his wife was expecting and he could not be at her side. He said his wife was really understanding and wasn't too worried.
During one such evenings of a rapid recording session that stretched for 3-5 days, he got a message that her wife has delivered a boy baby. Simultaneously the evergreen melody song 'Senorita I Love You' from Rajinikanth-starrer Johnny was completed.
