Spl buses to Kulasekarapattinam for Dussera

Dussera celebrations at the coastal town of Kulasekarapattinam in the Thoothukudi district attract lakh of devotees to witness the Soorasamharam event at the beach.

CHENNAI: Transport Minister SS Sivasankar has ordered the operation of special buses to Kulasekarapattinam from Chennai and Coimbatore on the occasion of the Dussera festival.

An official release said that the State Express Transport Corporation would ply special bus services to Kulasekarapattinam via Tiruchendur from Chennai and Coimbatore from October 1-4 in addition to plying normal bus services to the town.

For the safe return of the devotees, the SETC would operate special buses from the town from October 6 to 10. Devotees can book tickets in advance through www.tnstc.in or TNSTC app for their onward and return journey.
