CPM, PMK urge to postpone TRB test

The CPM and PMK founder S Ramadoss on Monday urged the state to postpone the entrance exam to recruit lectures in government polytechnic colleges citing difficulties faced by the applicants over the allocation of exam centres not opted by them.

CPM state secretary K Balakrishnan in a letter to Higher Education Minister said, that the candidates were allotted examination centres randomly in distant places instead of the centres opted by them. “For example, the candidates from the city were allotted centres at Virudhunagar. Some of them were given Kanniyakumari district too.
