Batting first AG’s Office was bowled out for 89 in 45.4 overs with left-arm spinner Rajwinder Singh taking eight wickets for 35 runs. Rajwinder bowled 23 overs in a single spell with the new ball. In reply, India Pistons was not better off though in the end, it managed to eke out a two-run first innings lead with one wicket left. KB Arun Karthik made an unbeaten 141 off 246 balls for Vijay CC against Globe Trotters at the Pachaiyappa’s ground. Karthik hit 12 fours and a six.
