Chennai City broke the deadlock against the run of play when Nandhakumar sent a dangerous cross in. Bengaluru’s Johnson tried to head it away hastily but he ended up directing it into his own goal.

Minutes later Bengaluru restored parity when Daniel Lalhlimpuia reacted instantly to Chennai City FC goalkeeper Karanjit Singh’s sloppy save to send the ball soaring into the net.

Both the teams however couldn’t find the winner till the final whistle.
