Two-day conference of international Tamil body from Jan. 16

The International Movement of Tamil Culture (India chapter) is holding a two-day special conference here on January 16 and 17.

Chairperson of the Movement (India chapter), Malathy Rajavelu, told newspersons here today that the meet would be held in association with the Movement's headquarters in Canada to discuss the "opportunities and challenges faced by Tamils in foreign countries".

Around 200 delegates from across the world will take part in the deliberations at the conference, which is to be inaugurated by Chief Minister N Rangasamy.
