TN Minister Sellur Raju, wife test positive for Covid 19

Tamil Nadu Minister for Co-operation Sellur K Raju and his wife on Friday tested postive for coronavirus infection and have been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai for treatment.

Ruling AIADMK member and Tamil Nadu Co-operation Minister, Sellur Raju and his wife on Friday tested postive for COVID-19.

Sellur Raju is the third Minister in the state to test positive for COVID-19.

Earlier Higher Education Minister K P Anbalagan and Electricity Minister P Thangamani had tested positive. Both are undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

A number of TN lawmakers, from the ruling AIADMK as well as the opposition DMK, have tested positive for coronavirus in recent times. They include DMK MLA J. Anbazhagan, who died after contracting Covid-19.

According to reports, both Sellur Raju and his wife were admitted in a city hospital for treatment
