Security up at city airport, Tamil Nadu stations

After the Pathankot attack security has been beefed up in the state at key points

In the wake of terror attack on the Pathankot airbase yesterday, security was beefed up at the Chennai International and domestic Airports and at Railway stations across the state. 

Airport officials said entry of visitors at departure and arrival enclosures has been prohibited for the next eight days. The CISF personnel were keeping a close watch on the passengers as well as their luggage at the Airport. 

Greater vigil has been kept at Railway stations, sources added. Security preparedness is being taken care of by Central and State agencies, officials added.
