The Red Box group recently launched The Green Box, an Indo-Chinese vegetarian restaurant catering to non-meat eaters. The dishes retain authentic Chinese flavours and spices while adding an extra kick and Indianising to suit our palates.

Some of their signature dishes are Tom kha sop, spicy corn spinach momos served with spicy chutney, schezwan black bean tofu, sweet chilli lotus stem, XO fried rice and star fried vegetable, sambhal wheat noodle and kung pao paneer among others.

The flavours of the dishes are very versatile and are a perfect blend of cuisines. In addition to the vegetarian options part of The Red Box, there are a few extra specials such as mushroom and paneer momos, wasabi tofu and millet rice with dry fruits. The restaurant also customises its food to suit different palates and preferences. This can be done while ordering on food delivery apps or while dining at the restaurant itself.

The restaurant is in Kilpauk and is certainly a delight to vegetarians.
