History sheeter hacked to death inside Kilpauk Medical College Hospital

The deceased was identified as Aadhi of Rajamangalam. Police sources said that Aadhi has several criminal cases against him.

CHENNAI: A history sheeter was hacked to death inside Government Kilpauk Medical College and Hospital on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Aadhi of Rajamangalam. Police sources said that Aadhi has several criminal cases against him.

Aadhi had come to the hospital to visit a relative, during the early hours of Monday.

The attackers were wearing helmets and took Aadhi by surprise and rained blows on him with their weapons and fled the scene. Public ran for cover and then alerted the authorities after which police personnel rushed to the scene and moved Aadhi to the hospital where he was declared as brought dead.

Special teams have been formed to trace the attackers.
