Educational series for medicos held

Global Gastro Update, a first of its kind educational series by multi-speciality Global Health City, was launched here on Sunday

The day-long programme, aimed at educating specialists in the latest medical developments to deliver the best to their patients, was inaugurated by Dr MGR Medical University Vice-Chancellor Dr S Geethalakshmi. It covered 13 most commonly encountered problems in surgical patients, aimed at enlightening and sharpening the skills of medical fraternity on various specialities. 

Renowned speakers transplant surgeon Prof Dr Mohamed Rela, Gastro intestinal expert Prof Dr SM Chandramohan, Global Hospitals Chairman Dr K Ravindranath delivered lectures, and gave tips for effective management of patients.
