DAC developers launch 1,000 homes in Chennai; ARR brand ambassador

According to the firm, it has completed over 110 projects, developed more than 45 lakh sq ft of built-up area, and delivered homes to over 3,000 customers so far

CHENNAI: DAC Developers on Tuesday announced music composer AR Rahman as its brand ambassador and launched around 1,000 new housing units across five locations in Chennai.

The new homes are spread across Kattupakkam in Porur, Kumananchavadi near Porur, Ramachandra, Sunguvarchatram along the Chennai–Bengaluru Highway, Sholinganallur and Siruseri on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR).

S Sathish Kumar, managing director, said that the association with Rahman reflects the company’s attempt to strengthen its brand presence as it expands its housing portfolio in the city. Rahman, in a brief statement, said he was happy to associate with a Chennai-based developer and highlighted the importance of homes as spaces that shape people’s lives. The composer will feature in its advertising campaigns across digital, print, outdoor and television platforms.
