Tanzania trade desk opened in Chennai

Chennai: The India Tanzania Trade Commission (ITTC) in collaboration with the India Africa Trade Council (IATC) opened the India Tanzania Trade Commission’s Office in Chennai on Tuesday.

The office was inaugurated by the High Commissioner of Tanzania to India, Anisa Kapufi Mbega, Indian Economic Trade Organization President Asif Iqbal, Tanzania Trade Commissioner - J Shrenik Nahar and other government officials, industrialists and key personalities.

“Tanzania is a country with business opportunities to explore, from agriculture to infrastructure, trade to pharmaceuticals and more,” said J Shrenik Nahar, Tanzania Trade Commissioner.

“We are initiating strong connectivity with Tanzania and will be taking a 50-member business delegation as ‘India Tanzania Trade Summit 2022’ to further enhance linkage between the two regions and build trust between businessmen,” he added.
