Muslim man offers namaz at Gurdwara

In a video which went viral, a Muslim man offers namaz while Gurbani was being recited in a Gurdwara in Malaysia. The Sikhs inside the Gurdwara didn’t seem to mind at all. The popular Facebook page Sikh Inside was supportive of the Muslim ‘brother’, saying ‘god is one’. The video has been winning many hearts. Although some people disapproved of the praying man’s actions, the video mostly received love and support, showing the world that religious harmony exists.

'Dancing Uncle' back with Mithun's hit song

Sanjeev Shrivastava (46), dubbed as Dancing Uncle is seen shaking his legs to a famous Mithun Chakraborty song ‘Julie Julie’ in the video which went viral. He is an electronic professor from Madhya Pradesh, who became an instant hit on the internet through a dance video in which he was seen copying Bollywood actor Govinda’s moves. Srivastava has created a huge fan base for himself due to his energetic moves and passion for dancing.

Report cites Pallikal as Dinesh Karthik’s wife, Twitter outraged at gender bias

A publication came under criticism after it referred Dipika Pallikal, a star squash player, as Dinesh Karthik’s wife instead. The report came out after she won a bronze medal for India at the 2018 Asian Games on Saturday. A Twitter user posted, “Dipika Pallikal won medal on her merits and hard work and it has nothing to do with Dinesh Karthik. #shamefulmedia”. Another Tweet read, “Dipika Pallikal has been a world-class medal winning squash player for a decade and yet her primary identity is that she is the wife of a cricket player? When will media look on a woman’s achievements outside the lens of gender and identity of mom, wife, daughter, sister?
