Deepika’s half-n-half shirt becomes a viral meme

Deepika Padukone found herself a target for fashion policing online with her latest trip to the airport thanks to her half-n-half button-down shirt.

While the half pink checkered and half pastel blue shirt was unimpressive, her ’70s-inspired flared jeans did not do her any favours either. The twitterati, as usual, went to town with memes and trolls poking fun at the Padmavathi actress. 

While many online called her style an influence of Ranveer Singh’s quirky, out-of-the-box fashion, all agreed that, while Ranveer pulls of his crazy style choices with ease, Deepika failed to do the same. 

Meme makers were also busy and dug out old photos of Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh wearing similar checkered shirts and pastel shirts to compare with Deepika’s look. 

“When you can’t choose between Your Ex & Your current boyfriend,” said the meme. The memes and photo are now going viral on social media.
