Legendary singer Susheela croons for Amala’s Aadai

The teaser of Amala Paul’s Aadai which was recently released, became the talk of the town as the actor appeared to have done a nude shot. She was even seen sporting the costume of Harley Quinn from Batman and won appreciations for her act.

Now, the director of the film, Rathna Kumar has announced that legendary singer P Susheela would croon for a song in the film and it will have a strong connect with the storyline.

What’s more interesting is that, this is a song that Susheela had originally sung 70 years ago. Rathna Kumar said, “At the age of 83, P Susheela Amma has sung a devotional song for our film Aadai. She sang the same song for the first time 70 years ago. It was a blessing from god to have her voice in our film.” Produced by Viji Subramanian, the film also features stars like Sri Ranjini, VJ Ramya, Vivek Prasanna and Adiraj in pivotal roles. The film will hit the screens on July 19.
