Please tell us about the new online courses. How do they work?

Design education is always evolving and it is very important for students to have a global exposure. These online programmes help students to be abreast with international standards of fashion and interior designs. Students will get access to the teachings of industry greats like Adrian Mott, Joseph Toronka, Sara Corker, Fabio Ciquera and April Glassbrow. Also, the lectures have been made keeping in mind the Indian student, with an easy to understand accent.

What is the unique feature about the institute?

INIFD has brought design education to the common man at an affordable pricing. As the design industry in India is growing at a fast pace, and there is more demand than supply, we prepare the students to be industry-ready.

How lucrative is a career in fashion and interior designing in the south?

South is a growing market for design. We have struck a balance between art and commerce. The new generation is making a mark in the design industry with new ideas backed by innovative technical expertise. The number of fashion houses and interior design firms have doubled in the last few years. So there are guaranteed jobs for the students. We also encourage them to become entrepreneurs.
