Third party mediation only way out in Kashmir: Qureshi

Uneasiness over non-cooperation by world leaders on the Kashmir issue could easily be traced in the statements of Pakistani leaders. Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi's fresh statement is an example of it in which he said that despite knowing everything about Kashmir, the European Union countries are not saying even a single word because of "political reasons".
He also said that third party mediation is the only way to resolve the issue.
According to a report in the Pakistani media, in an interview to 'Swiss TV' Qureshi expressed concern over the situation prevailing in Kashmir.
Qureshi said: "The countries of European Union are very well aware with the scenario but they are not raising voice due to 'political reasons'".
"Pakistan tried to hold a dialogue with India over the issue for more than one time but the neighbouring country did not show any positive response. There is not any possibility of bilateral talks between the two countries in near future. Hence, the only way remaining is the intervention of any third party," said Qureshi.
He also reiterated the previous charges saying the current government in India is working on the agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Qureshi also urged the lifting of the restrictions that are in force in Kashmir.
