Ukrainian President to visit US on Sep 23

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit the US on September 23 to participate in the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko said at a press conference here.

Prystaiko said Zelensky will meet US President Donald Trump during his visit to Washington and the date of the meeting will be announced soon, reports Xinhua news agency.

It will be the first meeting between the two heads of the state since Zelensky was elected as the President of Ukraine in April.

The 74th UN General Assembly will be held in New York City on September 17-30.
